What has been happening since our last newsletter?
Well done to all the students who participated and dressed up last Wednesday for Book Week. Well done to Declan, Logan and Kayden who were winners on the day. Nell, Nay and Ms Burbury won the staff award for their amazing group costume and their office decor. Well done team Hogwarts!
Last week on the 22nd of August Campania forfeited their game against Bothwell/Jordan River due to lack of players. This was our last game of the season, Well done to all the students that participated!
Recently Miss Smith contacted Mornington Bunnings to request a donation of watering cans for school so that more students can help and participate in watering the new seedlings. Bunnings kindly donated 15 watering cans. A big thank you to Mornington Bunnings for their support.
On Tuesday the 19th of September, week 9, we have an upcoming fundraiser day. It will be footy/sports colours day and we will also have a BBQ. Get your footy/sports colours ready. More information will be sent home soon. The money that we raise will be going towards the fight Cancer Foundation, which supports kids with cancer, through providing accommodation, research and education support program!

The 2023 School Satisfaction Surveys
Every year the Department of Education conducts a School Satisfaction Survey to find out what your child(ren)'s school does well and where it may improve.
We would be grateful if you completed our online survey about Campania District School. Your feedback is very important to help us inform our school-planning and decision-making.
The survey is open from Monday 28 August 2023 until Friday 22 September 2023 and should take about 5 minutes to complete.

The survey is carried out on a secure website and all responses are anonymous and confidential.
All families in this school receive the same survey link and no identifying information is collected. A summary of the survey results will be provided to schools. Responses from individuals or small groups will NOT be disclosed to any Department of Education staff.

On Wednesday, August 16th, the One/Two class visited Eastside Gymnastics Academy. The class participated in a range of movements and exercises including trampolining, balancing, leaping and rolling. We had a great time learning and practicing new movements. We finished up our excursion at Bellerive Beach Park for lunch and a play.
The Grade 5/6 Art class have started work on a picture of their choice from a geographic picture. They are using acrylic paint on canvas. They had to use a pencil first to outline their picture before they started on the painting.











Last Wednesday was Book Week parade. What a fantastic turn out from everybody, you all looked fantastic. A very big thank you to Joan and Miss Smith for organinsing and hosting the parade in the gym.
